for some stupid reason when i try to log into the game it says it can't connect to the host.........whats the deal?
r there any others havin problems loggin in?

try and relog, if that doesnt work reboot PC and net connection.
otherwise it could be a server issue.
i was getting a ping of 4000, i rebooted and delete some nasty process call 'svmscv' and 'rlkvnk' or something from my task manager and it sorted it out.
hit ALT, CTRL, and DEL at the same time from your desktop and see what your computer usage shows as. with no problems it should flick between 0-2%. anything over 10% when not running anything sugggests foul play. run a virus and spyware check.
also make a list of the processes in task manager, and see if any new or dirty looking ones pop up. if so, right click and end process tree.

A couple of other things to check ...........
Updated your firewall lately? You may have to re-allow Aces High. Some are worse than others.
Updated Windows lately? A Windows update can change your Windows-managed firewall settings. Even if you dont use the Windows firewall, and normally have it set to "off", an update can turn it back on.

Betty I was having a tough time loggin in last night as well, I kept getting disco'd during xtreme air racing while running in 1st or 2nd, I'm not sure what was going on, I never have connection problems with the exception of last night... Hope its just a 1 time deal

Having some strange connect issues myself. Log on seem to take quite awhile but lately I had a failure to load!
Was loading into video memory and BANG stopped on the same one every time.
Fixed it by deleting cache and the letting AHII recreate the cache.
But today I've had 2 ctd within 10 minutes. I log on and start flyin and when I get to where a fight is going on I CTD?????

yeah something weird is going on, I'm having the same probs, extreme load times, if it loads at all, then once I get into an arena it takes a solid 10 minutes to load up the roster, then I usually get a disco... As I said earlier, I have never had connection problems in the past so I don't think its on my end

I can't get aces high to load at all tonight click on it BOOM stright to desktop :mad: edit fixed it the damn sound drivers went south again, you would think after 3 times I would check these first:D

Dont know who all this will be applicable to, but I had problems and this is kinda what I found out and for me its a Cox cable internet thing.
Cox Internet is upgrading their network stuff. If you have a modem that is running on the DOCSIS V1 protocol you will have issues with parts of their network that has been upgraded to DOCSIS V2. They told me the older modems with V1 will not reliably work.
I had issues this past weekend and was told I needed a new modem that was DOCSIS V2. I got one, got it set up and accepted by ISP. Turned out there was a router in Dallas having problems. While on the phone with tech support complaining about problem router I was told there was nothing they could do and while complaining about having to spend money on a modem I may have not needed, the bad router disapeared.
Regardless weathert the router was my problem or not they told me I would have had to upgrade anyway.

Noticed yesterday suddnely getting TERRIBLE fps on this map where I used to get pretty good fps???????????????
Clouds maybe? Something get changed on the graphics of this map?
Maybe we are having to download the newest graphics?
Getting allot of white flashing after all graphics are loaded. Seems to go on for about 10 minutes??????

Last night it worked fine... guess its fixed as far as I can tell
