I have
Win XP
gig ram
Audilogy LS
Logitech headset with mic that works perfectly in all other games, and in windows.
The mic is plugged into the soundcard, not mobo audio, (not usb)
current drivers
the dang thing will not work in AH. I can see that I am transmitting. squaddies tell me they can't understand me at all.
For vox channel, I type in my callsign, and transmit to test and it is unreadable.
Why does my mic not work with AH?
What can I do to fix it?

you running win xp? if so shoot me a pm and Ill give you my aim and yahoo screennames You may just have one or two things that need to be enabled in windows to get it to work.

Try this:
Start>>settings>>control panel>>sound and audio devices
Click on the "Voice" tab, then look for the "test hardware" button. That runs a cheery wizard.
If you dont want your voice to boom out of your speakers when you talk, its ok to mute your Mic in Windows, T or F12 will still activate it in game.

You have a mute button/switch on your mic? I flew half an hr this morning wondering why my vox wasn't working...accidentally switched my mute button on.

If you gave Skuzzy a call, chances are he'd tell you these two things:
1. Update your sound card drivers.
2. Go into Control Panels and dbl click DirectX icon. Next click on the DxDiag button. Look for the SOUND tab on the top, open it and look where the sound acceleration slider sits. It should be on the 3rd (75%) has mark.
If all that doesn't cure ypu, I'd give Skuzzy a call. 817-251-1540
Good luck
