The Copperhead or Diamondback models.........  LASER

http://store.razerzone.com/

These things are FAST! and Sensitive!

If you get one suggest you pick up the mat to go with!

Just the mat with a standard optical mouse is SMOOTH!

I am looking for a new mouse, but I was looking at this one.

this mouse (http://www.logitech.com/index.cfm/products/details/US/EN,CRID=2135,CONTENTID=10716)

Looks like the Logitech has alot more going for it, except for the 'look'. Is there some benefit I'm not seeing?

(besides, I wanted to combine that with Logitech's new keyboard)

IMHO I will NOT purchase ANY Logitech made equipment after they burned me on the Logicrap stick warrenty!

The Razor models mentioned have 6 buttons and a wheel.  Has on the fly adjustment.  And programabilty.  AND no Batteries!  Hate when the batteries go out on you at usually the worst possible time    I see SPECIAL Batteries are required????????

And it cost less so you can grab the exactmat as well!  The Mat has 2 sides one for speed and the other for exactness.

SMOOTH!

IIRC Logitech is the best in the industry in most things OTHER than joysticks.

forget Logitech go with the Copperhead. I have a diamondback for the past eight months and my gaming improved so much. I was a Logitech MX700 type before, but the Razers are so much better, not just faster, but more accurate. Also get a bungee for the cable, it makes a world of difference too!

I had one of the latest Logitech gaming mouse. It was ok, but the tilted angle gave me A hand cramp.

P.S I guess it would pass as time went on, but I like my rollerball.

The Razer products look nice, but all these side buttons do get so anying. I think when it comes to mice, simple is better.
