You can get it here (http://hcmotorsports.com/download.php?op=visit&lid=549).
Papyrus (http://www.papy.com) is one company that continues to out-do themselves. Whenever you think they can't get any better... they prove you wrong. Incredible.

Thanks for the heads up DJ. I bought Nascar 1 (seems like a hundred years ago) and 2 but passed on 3 and 4 though they looked very good. After playing the 5 demo this is one i'll definitely be buying.

Turn left, then left, left again and then left.
ZZzzzzzzzzzzzzzz. :)
Try GPL instead :)

This is actually realy good, Had a go at most of the nascar series, Nascar 3 was my favourite, and I still give it a go every so often, Nascar 4 was pretty but didn't get my cash, This one is a definate improvement, can't wait, looks really good everything turned on and really smooth, Nascar 3 had a few road courses and this one feels more like Nascar 3 than 4. GPL is still the king as far as I'm concerned but the handling etc of this one lends itself more to GPL than the rest of the Nascar series,
in short worth the download.

Its based on the same physics engine as GPL. The one thing they do here that I haven't seen modeled in any racing sim is the racing "line"... the track just got a whole lot narower.
And those that say "its only turning left" haven't raced the Glen.

yep, watkins glen and sears point rule. Still I prefer the nurburgring. :)
The demo seems very similar to N4, only with higher detail textures on the road and grass. Not sure if there's much difference other than the new paint jobs on the cars for 2002.

beside the updated GFX, N2002 is based on the 2002 rules.
-No more special Qualifying Engine.
-Harder tire mixtures.
-2002 Aerodynamic changes.
and thats by far not all changes.
but driving 100+ Laps with 30+ People, strategic Pitstops, 3 wide in corners,
for me it is a unique challenge.
And before you ask, yes i drive GPL too ;)

Nascar feels like driving a truck, compared to GPL. (The big steering wheel also doesnt help to diminish that impression).
I'd rather do 20 laps at the Nurburgring in GPL than 100 laps on an oval in Nascar :)

Well I still drive Sports Car GT and GPL; but a guy I used to work with got me hooked on Nascar 4. Even though I never bought it I would borrow his copy for a week or so at a time. Now with this one coming out I will probably be getting it.

Daff, i drive GPL & Nascar without Steeringwheel Grafix.
Between me and my monitor i hold the real wheel, dont need a 2nd to see hehe ;)
Anyway you can't compare an openwheel sim with a stockcar sim, two different worlds.
But two damn good race sims!
Soon we will see (hopefully) WSC, i'm sure it
will attract racers from GPL & Nascar.

While I know several people who have tried WSC, until it's actually released, it's vaporware, especially now that they are going to finish it without a distributer.
