Tonight there was a great furball between Knights and Rooks, between A11 and A7. It was really fun, and everyone was a real gentleman!
A big to all the Knights and Rooks who was there, I had much much fun!
The only one I blame is Wetrat.... he kept promising me that he would kill me with a cockpit shot, but his aim really sucks..... he tore apart every other single piece from my plane, never a good, fast death! :mad:

i played around there for a while, first in a 262 (which i crashed trying to land at 180mph, what gives??) then in a chog, then finally in B26s.
seriously good fun.

was great. i think i got about 50 kills in 15 minutes lol, but didnt get a chance to land a single one of them :)
was great fun. thats the kind of scenes that keep this game alive for me.
and well, wetrat may have been a cruel to you, but every time he killed me i had no idea where he came from!!!!!!!!!
flying about, pwning dweebs, then tower, and one lone boomph!

Good furballs are hard to come by these days. Its had to been months since the last time Ive had a real good furball without guys 10k above the fight just pickin or people running away.
Last big furball I remember I think was last summer, not sure what map it was, was a somewhat of a deep valley maybe 50-100 feet deep. Not even sure which country I was or which country was facing. We all go into this valley and had a massive furball, had to of been at least 100 people in that valley.
But when there is a good furball, it never lasts. The fun police is never far behind the furball and must ruin it. Everyone will yell at the person but their reply is always, "WE MUST WIN THE WAR HELP BY KILLING FHs and DESTROY EVERYTHING!!!!"

unfortunately there was, and will always be those at 10k and lalas blasting through at 500mph. thankfully there was enough furballers to make them unoticable.....and Oh the JOY when one of them got too slow to run, man we gave them hell.
I was flying a 262 at about 2k and turning with yaks and 190s, and running from spits :)
my chog died very quickly most times, but so much fun.
the most fun though, was upping B26s and flying towards the enemy base (had already dropped my bombs, but it made them think i was intending on the FHs :p).....you should have seen the BnZers and lalas dropping on me like flies on poo....and falling to the tail guns.

Hoarach, sorry you missed that, it was really a blast (well.... I was blasted a lot of time :p), I hope you'll be there next time, with Raptor, too.... I don't like Salad! :D

its just that poo isnt allowed to use the squadron shower untill he is 18 for legal reasons, he smells incredibly similar to a badger in heat.
sends the lady badgers wild, but unfortunately attracts flies.

Hope I didn't bruise too many egos :lol It's not like ya didn't know I was comin... I was flyin the same plane in the same spot for a couple hours. If ya cross my nose, ima kill ya :aok And sorry about the lack of cockpit shots on ya gian... the Ki is a weee bit too shifty and my taters go too slow. Can't help it if you block my cockpit shots with yer wings :D
Remember, unless yer about to take a shot on someone, you shouldn't be looking forward.

Yes, I know this stuff, and it always raised a semi-serious question in my mind: how can you get to be about to take a shot at someone if you're not looking where you're going???? (I hope my english is not too bizantine... :p)

NOTE this was done with good humor in mind thinking someone may get a laugh out of it.
I like a furball as much as the next guy sometimes but more often then not I end up in the above position.
The "War" will always come firs for me, sorry.

Mypersonal solution: the ignore list. There are a very[/i] few on the BBS whose attitudes and bearing grate me like fingernails + chalkboard. I dont like the way I behave when I interact with them, and I'm sure others who read teh interactions dont enjoy it either. To me, self improvement includes changing the way i react, but in the meantime I'm avoiding the noxious stimulus with the ignores.
Might I suggest that those who find themselves in trans-thread blood feuds might benefit from a similar step? We know you cant stand each other; I'm sure you guys know you cant stand each other; so why not leave it at that at ignore each other?
