print spooler not runing

Friend of mine has this problem. (LOL no not me)

Conventional fixes such as reinstalling drivers and start-run-"services.msc
etc doesnt seem to be working for her.

any thoughts?

run adaware and spybot and then a virus scan. If you can get your hands on a copy of registry mechanic run it too. Lots of time print spooler errors are caused by malware spyware and virus that change the registry. If you can get the exact error message and google it you can get to the root of the problem much faster.  sometimes even the virus scanner can cause the error. Its a known bug in McAfee and has been for a long time!!! hope this helps!
