it is not the Carter Hall. it WAS the LSD-3. but was refitted for another role, what is that role?

Im gona take a wild guess and say some kind of medical role. Seems to be no large armament on it. Is sporting a landing pad. SO I guess some kind of medical role.

Dopy me.  It's La Salle.  It was never an LSD, it was an LPD.  Converted to a command ship as AGF-3.  Should have looked more closely, the profile is very similar to an LSD but all the white domes are satellite antennas.

CORRECT!!! IT IS THE AGF (Miscellaneous Command Ship) 3 La Salle.
