Are you coming to our AH Shooting Club shootout next weekend? I'll let you hold my army colt and even buy you a hotdog if you come.

No, I've read the list, and it seems like there are numerous people coming who look like the guy in your avatar, even though Grunherz has developed anorexia. I don't think there'd be enough hot dogs to go round!

:rofl

LOL - I'm smaller than you...

...and besides - it's all relative :lol

Of course you are; you're English. How tall are you anyway?

Why, do you have a suit that might fit me? :p;)

I think all my suits would have sleeves and pant legs far, far to long for you. Wouldn't want you to trip.

No, I was just wondering if weight was proportional to height in your case. From the pics I've seen of you, it seems a but odd that you would be attempting to make fun of the others on this point.

Well, those pics were probably from the 2003 minicon (?) after I'd been pigging out at the Embassy Suites. And, like I said, it's all relative. And, if your "pant legs" are as long as you say they are, you could make them into a couple of neck ties for some of the guys going to mietla's shoot out!
:rofl

Post a new pic then; perhaps you can point a not-so-pudgy finger after all.

I could say something really mean spirited and caddish to that, but that would involve stooping to the level of people like rip, gto, mav et al, who are fond of reminding me of an unfortunate chapter in my private life.

Toad, hope you are indeed in good shape, after what you've been through.

Ya know, if you weren't such a jerk, I doubt anyone would bring up your dark past. Ever think about that for a moment?  No, of course not, its everyone elses fault....:huh

Yep, continually reminding someone of something that was said or even pictured on a BBS must mean that that someone was a "jerk" and deserved it.

No other explaination for it.

No. In your case, it's because you're incapable of a debate using only germane material, so you resort to personal attacks instead. Same can be said for all those other bananas.

I had pretty much ignored this until I saw this bit here beetle. I had thought about sending this in a PM but figured since you mentioned me in a thread where I had not posted, I'd say this "publicly" instead.

As you no doubt already surmised, I really do detest those who commit domestic abuse. In the experiances I have had in dealing with them they were bully's intent on inflicting their will and pain on those who could not fight back. It was very gratifying to place them in jail for abusing those weaker than themselves.

In this case, you don't try to deny the situation and in fact have taken responsibility for your act. As such, I have to say I can and do respect you for that. It would be quite easy for you to simply try to pawn it off as a fiction after the fact even though you had not done so in the original thread that brought this situation to life.

I certainly hope you do not feel the claim that something is "an unfortunate chapter" is only applicable to you or is an excuse for inappropriate actions. I am sure that there are others that would like to dismiss many thing with a statement that it was "an unfortunate chapter" in their private lives as well.

In the future I will endeavor to dislike the act (hopefully a one time act and not a string of acts), and not let that dislike color all of the reaction to the individual making the remarks.

Well OK then. But you don't know the full story (only two people do) so don't presume to be in a position to pass judgement. I don't know what was said at the time - and I don't want to know. It's good enough for me to know that Tomato knows I would never harm her intentionally. The "incident" was last April, and I am on good terms with Tomato now. In fact she paid me a surprise visit this evening, and left only a few minutes ago.

it was the beady eyes and shifty expression that sold me.
