Title: Wear a tie, and bring two forms of ID

The President is paying a visit to my office on Wednesday for a speech.  Unfortunately the lobby will be filled with media and big wigs and none of us will hear the speech.  I am looking forward to getting wanded by the secret service.

Come to think of it, the speech is at noon.  I am sure the roads will be closed.  I had better pack a lunch.

Bubba Klinton came to the city I was working at, eh... right after he got elected.

The secret service approached to the Chief with a list of "authorized personelle" that were allowed near the President, they flat out told my Dept there were two sworn police officers that under no circumstances were to go near him... or they'd be shot.... and this SS dude said it with a "serious as a heart attack" look.

The funniest thing is they never said why, although the two guys in question were definately 5149.5 (5150WIC = nutty)

They give your boss any black list?

We are a bulding of about 500 people.  Unfortunatey we do not have any sort of auditorium, and our lobby only holds about 250.  We have been told in the most polite corporate-speak available that after the room is filled with the media, the President's 100 member circus, and local VIPs, there will not be any room for anyone else.

I am going to have to pack a lunch that day because more than likely the roads around us will be closed. :furious

Whenever the Pres comes to So-Cal they park AF One about 2 miles from my office. It is cool to see and all, but my cell phone service always sucks while its here.

That's because they run a liberal brain scan ray that reads the minds of liberals so they know when you liberals are planning something that could upset the president. Like protests or writing down license plate numbers.
