27k? We leveled at 22k.
Me thinks the barometric pressure is different in allied and axis planes :)
Great pics, btw!
-
Appox. give or take a few thousand:D
Coulda been that french wine that was plundered before takeoff too!
-
Hehe, lucky LW, the 8th only has this "loaf of bread" beer over here in foggy England :D

Nice pics!
Ya Stringer..I saw that 27000ft bit too..I wonder if its just nerves and misjudging the alts. We see it alot.

well there might be something to that after all..maybe a series of flight test comparisons for altitude between LW an Allied planes is called for..just a thot?
Like ya said we see it a lot...

Ive noticed that a lot of time on runs in I have to push the nose down because the buffs are 2 or 3K lower than the appeared from a distance. Maybe its something visual?
I know on combat film replays, the buffs are usually right at the alst you guys say they are, but during the fight we would swear they are several thousand feet higher.

Nice screen shots. How do you get a single frame of a film as a sreen shot?
-
I dont know how he does it, I just hit print screen and paste/edit it in photoshop or paint.

-
using AH Film Viewer.
-
THANK YOU OUTBREAK; i already knew that part.i was just trying to figure out how HUSK got the outside view of his plane, and the angle and position he had.i guess it's just a matter of playing with the film viewer a while.
-
Use adjust film speed for the frame you want, check chase view then adjust side and bottom slides on the pic frame for angle ,then zoom in or out for desired details.
Also bracket keys are useful and a host of other things which i didn`t use...
hit print screen or what i did was full screen pic an captured with psp then renamed it jpg...got lucky for my first time plus a little help from my CO on how to post....Thankx White13...:D

I figured it out thx for the help BCEE:aok

Well that was hella fun. I think the best part was trying to limp home in a leaking shot up single buff on 2 engines. I didn't make it, but it was very immersive.
-
This is what happens to an over confident 110 driver:confused:
