Title: AH2 rockets on Sturmovik

What are the IL2 rockets for? How powerful are they? Can either type (last I recall there are 2 types) kill tanks?

they are armor piercing rockets.......they are made for killing tanks i believe

they used to be good for kills on osties, m16s,lvts and m3s, at 1,6k.
now you can even see the guy till 800

only at begin of war
later they figure out  diferent tactics and use mixed formations
RS was poor weapon to hunt tanks laters models, PZkW, 4, 5, 6 was quite safe.
But RS was very good for fighting troops, road traffic, camps, trains, trucks, light armor.

As for anti-tank weapon they use bombs

against medium and heavy tanks, yes
unless you have luck and point it in hatch ;)
can cose domage of wheels

imho its 50:50 , luck:accuracy
