I wish I did not have to listen to MG pings for 15 seconds after I'm back in the tower. That would be great.
-
I hear ya, at least you don't still take damage when you up again though. That caused many a canopy hole and pilot wound.
-
I believe it teaches the lesser skilled their proper place in the scheme of things.
tremble serfs!

Put a real nice long wav-file for hit sound.... Youll get to listen to it forever. AH plays all the hit sounds to the hits you recieved, one after the other.... no matter how long it takes.....
Also, you hear the rest of the range voice transmission when returned to tower during one.
-
It's still annoying.
-
This was added as a feature. If it is not there people complained that they were always being killed with 1 shot.

:rofl
You're kidding, right?? :lol
-
No, he's not kidding.
The whining was incessant about "1 ping kills".
Then he added the entire hit string sound. Sometimes sounds like you're in a trash can with a guy drumming "Wipeout" on the lid, doesn't it? Very few "wah, 1 ping kill" whines ever since.
-
You deserve to hear every single 303 bullet i managed to get into your plane......:t :D

Actually I get instant 1-ping deaths all the frakkin' time!
No sound collage in the tower, just "ping-BAM" in the tower. Very annoying. Happens often.

you dont hear the ones after the first one goes through your head. :D

:rofl Oh man! That is a good one! Butt... what if it went in one ear....and then out the other??? Would you hear them both?? :huh
-
More importently Would it make a sound after the bullet passed do to your head bumping the side of the cockpit?
-
You should be strapped in - head should'nt hit the side of the cockpit..... brains might, but head wouldnt....well unless it was a 109... :D
-
Sounding kinda like AH zen....
"if your brains hit the far side of the cockpit, and there's no co-pilot there, does it make a sound?"
