Thanks for the DA help today.....Was a gooooood reminder of just how much I suck and how much more there is to learn.
Coldkill thanks for the settings. Gonna be even worst for awhile but I think it'll be the best thing for my flying.

Interesting lil tidbit....
I got new settings and all on my joystick. FINALLY disabled the Stall Limiter:eek: and flew in the MA late last nite with the new settings and stuff.
Batfink is telling me all this good stuff about how this will help and it will be better in the long rin. Coldkill was a huge help with that.
Anyway...Got to the first enemy..MISS. 2nd enemy...MISSS 3rd enemy MISSSS WORST and top it off with a sensational SNAP ROLL STALL AUGER.
System: Batfink lands 3 kills thanks to Redtops unsurpassed sukiness at gunnery and flying.:lol
It is helping already tho.
But oh lord what a difference.

Redtop, you flew great last night. Some of the best P40 flying skills I've ever seen. Next time, try not to follow me for a sector and bnz me while I'm fighting others. I know it's the MA, but if ya fly like that, it only shows your "dweeb" side.:) I had fun fighting that corsair right before you killed me.

Thanks Kermit....TC was about out of fuel. I just trailed him and we were going to RTB. I saw ya turn on him...and decided I'd help him since I was not wanting him to have to ditch when he had help if possible.
Sorry Man...Just keeping an eye for a fellow knight. I appreciate the words tho.

So are you saying that you flew AWAY from him, while he was in a P40, for a whole sector knowing that he was following you ?
As Lev would say ... and he says it ALOT ... as far as "dweeb" ... isn't that the pot calling the kettle black ?

No no slap, this occured over a 25 mile area. I would get distance from him to give me time to fight the next guy. As soon as I killed another, I had to extend again to get a 1v1. That corsair Redtop was saving was 2k behind me and red was 4k. I was hoping red would go back to the furball, but he decided to try to stick around and wait for me to reverse on the corsair that was supposedly low and fuel and needed to rtb.:rolleyes:
Red was in a P40E. Tuff plane to get kills in. He knew he couldn't catch me unless I was preoccupied with someone else first.
This whole thing was just one sortie. So I can't say red always flies like that.
The extension part is just to drag 1 guy away from furball so that I may die in peace in a 1v1 fight. I draged the corsair and red for 10mi or less just because red would not leave.

sounds to me like kermi was skeered of a 2 on 1 :p
i fly with redtop most days, i can tell you he flies however he likes and dont care what people think. furballing IL2s or BnZ in 262, its all the same to us 71 squadron guys.
BUT, our MAIN RULE is that if someone tries to run, CHASE THE WUSSIE DOWN AND KILL HIM!

The F4U in question was TC. Now , knowing what I know of TC he didn't "Need" my help to fight you at all. I'm not going to say they he would own you but I think you would have your hands full with him. In the beginning I was after you. Couldn't catch you for nothing in that P40E. Unless you at full throttle all the time in that thing time will fly past ya. :lol
Anyway...We were talking about you heading back towards your base. He said he was gonna kill ya for running. Only thing is he said he wass low on fuel. I told him I plenty of fuel but I'd be glad to hang out. He said and I think it was very close to something like...I don't think it will matter I will probably run out. He had lots of ammo left as well. We were just deciding to RTB when you reversed. I wasn't tryiong to "Wait" til you were engaged I just was chasing you along with him in a much slower ride. You got tied up...and I got a lucky shot on you. And believe me thats what it was. You'd beat me MOST times no matter the plane.
Anyway...I wasn't trying to pick ya. I wasn't trying anything really. Just B.S.'in with TC and fuel talk. Honestly , and TC will back it I'm sure....You hadn't reversed when you did? We were both going home or he was gonna vulch ya and ditch.
Sorry again and trust me...If you tell me your Bingo ammo...bingo fuel....or just wanting to get out of a fight....I'll let ANYONE out....unless I think they will just turn around and come back. If it's someone I know , I have no problem in a draw.
