After posting this in Tech Support i realized that that probably wast the correct place to post it. So im posting it here.
Is the CM features disabled in H2H? i.e., I want to have a MOTD popup for a H2H session. Is it possible to have a MOTD popup in an H2H session?
I have tried what seems to be the obvious way to set this up, but it doesnt work.
Anyone know?

IIRC, you have to name the text file "motd.h2h.txt" but I seem to remember being corrected and told to name it just "motd.h2h" Try both; one'll work. :D

I know it can be done. I just cant tell you how.


Try doing a search for MOTD in FreeMultiplayer Forum. Or post there, im sure someone knows how.

Other Option, ask Gianlupo or Raptor01 if you see them online. They are both ex-freeloaders.

MOTD is disabled for h2h since verison 2.04 or 2.03

WHAT!?! Well, that would explain all the "failed attempts". Anyone know when it might be back up?

Mugz, MOTD worked in H2H till version 2.05.

When 2.06 came out, a bug prevented players to join H2H and patch 2.061 was released to address this matter. Since 2.061, MOTD doesn't work any longer in H2H.

I thought a lot of times about asking Skuzzy or Hitech about this, but, having subscribed, I didn't care that much :p

I guess it has something to do with the debugging made between 2.06 and 2.061, since it involved a glitch that affected only H2H, maybe it won't be possible to have MOTD back in Free multiplayer...

Anyway, this is the right time to ask:

HiTech, Skuzzy, what happened to MOTD in H2H? :(
