Kanttori asked me to make a couple of goons for the Stalin's Fourth scenario. The Finnish one is actually based on the FiAF's sole DC-2, nicknamed Hanssin Jukka. As such it is unlikely to make the MA, (wrong plane and only one of them). It has a few issues due to the extensive mirroring on this skin; half the insignia are reversed etc.
The Soviet skin is a Lisunov Li 2BT (licensed produced C-47 with Russian engines). There were plenty of Li-2s produced and apart from the lack of an upper turret I've been able to skin most of the visible Li-2 differences in, so hopefully this will get into the MA.
Both these are now up at The Skin Department (http://www.ah-skins.com/)

Great skins, thank you Greebo!
Remember to send the Li-2 soon to Skuzzy, I have informed him. The Finnish "Hanssin Jukka" is coming as a default skin to Karelia terrain. The next update is coming out in the beginning of March and it cotains him (Hanssin Jukka is male...)! :D

Thank you again Greebo! :)

awsome work greebo!
are you interested in making some IJA, RAF and USAAF goons too? hehe :)
that would just leave out the germans and italians hehe. no goons for them

Thank you for your kind words guys.
Yes Cit, that was pretty much my thinking and I've found a few interesting schemes. I've got a profile of a USN R4D done in the dark/intermediate blue and white scheme. Then there is a USAAF desert scheme in brown and green. Or I might try a silver goon. Not that it would get flown much, of course. :)
I've been looking for info on the Japanese version of the DC-3, the Showa L2D. I've only located a few grainy black and white photos and a poor quality profile. Not found one with an interesting set of markings yet though, just green and grey with the basic national markings.
The RAF goon was pretty much a given for me and is almost done:

That would be a very nice addition (having some modicum of defensive capabilities) to the Goonie.
