Title: Please kick me in the ***
Post by: Saintaw on February 20, 2006, 10:56:54 AM: While doing some maintenance work on the Picture Hangar... I accidentaly deleted all the files that were uploaded on the new version. Orel still has a backup of the files (Pre oct 2005) but I will have to wait for him to be back from his current trip overseas.

I wasn't even drunk when I did this.

My sincere apologies :o

There was a lot of swearing involved and yes, I said "!!!" many times.

Post by: Saintaw on February 20, 2006, 04:15:08 PM: I have now recovered another 800 files (930 total) ... there were a lot of zero byte files I had in that backup (I didn't check those 2gb of files manualy). I sent an email to the old host to check if they can send me the files (They are still there, I just no longer have an ftp acces to them).

Golfer, can you please check if what you want is still there? I swear to cod I wil no longer touch this while I'm on ppost op medication as I am right now :)

MT, will a refund in Pr0n do?

Didn't work. Fortunately, recent backups kick arse.

Logged in (since you said it would be private) and nada.

golfer2 is a-ok with it's files but Golfer was full of 8mb of images from the original PH. Are those part of the lost boys?

If this were to happen to me at work... I cannot immagine the consequences (I'm currently contracting for a government agency). Fortunately, over there... I work with a DEV/TEST/*PROD cycle... something I didn't deem necessary for my own site for some reason (duh!).

I have recalculated storage space for users with a level 7 to 4 according to the new space we have on the server. So at least... y'all should have more space now :)
