Anyone here about this... yet ??
Ive heard thru the grape-vine that Google maybe planning a operating system ... eta 2010 .
I've read some on the dual/64bit cpu tasking of two os's at the sametime .. i think thats comming soon too.

It is not a rumor. They have opened a very large development center in CA. for this. The core is going to be based on Linux, but from there, it is anybody's guess.

Looking at who they are hiring, I would say they are going for an API knck-off of Windows. I could live with API compatibility.
I think binary compatibility would be too difficult to do without invoking the wrath of lawyers from MS.

Hmmmm Google OS, Linux based so robust networking. Perhaps a bit more user friendly and stable than current linux. Can you say GIVE IT TO ME NOW!

2010? Thats a few years down the Road, By then we gonna have Computer built into our damn Couches so we aint gotta budge when playing AH2 LMAO, Or maybe in 2010 it will be AH6?:lol
