I'd guess a 109G or K

Gotta be a G series with those bulges.. the bulges look longer than usual though...
-
i think its a 109g10 the bulges look to big for a 6 although i know Romania had a lot of g2 and g6s

It's one of the sixty Brasov built Bf 109Ga-6 showing clearly the so called "Brasov's bulges".

Wow. Is there anything about WW2 you don't know?:D :aok
I knew they made G-6's at IAR-Brasov but I never knew they were diffren in any way.

Yup, the only difference was the gun bulges. The tail and canopy were identical to the early production G6s. Other than the bulges, the only way to tell the difference is usually the paintjob. A really high demarcation line and the squiggly paintjob shown above are usually good indications that the aircraft is a Ga6.
My records show that 150+ 109s were built at Brasov, but that may include the locally built G2s as well as the Ga6s. They were operated until around 1950-51 when all remaining WWII era aircraft were replaced by post-war Las, Yaks and MiGs.

Heres a cleaner shot and a profile to show the different blisters a bit better.

But note how those bulges are more off to the SIDE of the aircraft and not obstructing the pilots view

what was that thing on the left hand side of the plane in front of the fusealage...its like a somthing sticking out and it was only on the left hand side of the plane.

Supercharger intake. All 109s had 'em.
-
Avia S-199 had it on the starboard side.
