Ripping your keyboard out after a particularly annoying BSOD and beating your computer case with it until the keyboard breaks in half and spews keys all over the room will not damage your hard drive.  Therefore, I find it highly unlikely that the combination of keystrokes you listed would have that effect.


NOTE:  Using your keyboard as a blunt weapon may void its warranty.

considering the computer gets confused and stopps accepting keystrokes if more than 3 buttons are pressed at once, probably not...

ah well, some l33t hacker on americas army told me it would fry it, i told him he was lying, and tested it to see.

he then said it doesnt happen till you turn off your PC......i know its so unlikely to be true....but there is a certain ammount of trepidation within me to boot down now :O

That's not true, but hitting ALT F4 will increase your available system memory.
