Title: Clarifying a few things about Rooks
Post by: Guppy35 on February 24, 2006, 02:50:07 AM
There was a discussion going on on the country channel about Rooks tonite.  Having flown Rooks for a while now I think it important we clarifiy a few things for the few squads that have moved over as of late.

First things first.  Rooks do not lose bases.  We misplace them.    JB42 came on channel tonite and started yelling that we'd lost 28.  Doggone JBs show up Rooks and misplace 28 right away.  It was just there a minute ago and they can't find it.  It was rather discouraging to have to stop everything and organize a search for 28.  We found it eventually tucked in behind a mountain, none the worse for wear.

Secondly.  BldNinja DOES NOT represent HTC and you do not have to pay him rental fees for the aircraft.  No matter what he says, ignore him.  He's a bomber driver after all.

Thirdly, it's important to keep an eye on your wallet.  There are a lot of BNZ cherry pickers out there.  SHawk in particular has been rumored to have perfected the art of picking in that 190 of his.

Fourth.   Silat is not a woman, no matter what he tells you or what he's wearing.  His medication is off.  The doctors are working hard to get the right combination of meds to settle him down.  Until then, just smile and nod and let him go about his business.

I'm sure there are other Rook flyers out there who can add to this list, but I thought it important to at least start to warn any new Rook flyers what they have to look forward to.

After all we take this game very seriously!  It's all about winning the war after all :)

Yanno, this has been going on far too long. We need to take up a collection to fund this poor bastard's surgery.

Rooks are probably the most unfriendly bunch of the three countries. I think due to the mass of cocky L33t ace newbs flying on their side. But they are the most fun to steal kills from....

Nits are the most fun to fly with.

Bish are the most fun to fly with and "spot" goons for. :)

You can not prove the accuracy of any of those statements, and I ask you drop the matter immediately.
