Title: P51B - pilot wound no blood
Post by: Krusty on February 25, 2006, 07:28:14 PM
Had a sortie in a p51B. Took a hit from a p47 but didn't notice anything fall off. It was a loud "BANG" (the kind that signifies you just lost a part of your plane) but I was fine, and kept flying. Moments later this nagged at me so I hit CTRL D and it said I had a pilot wound!!!

No blood on the canopy at all! Had I seen the blood I would have left for base faster. As it was I wasted time and bled to death while rtb.

Just FYI.

Similar experience just a bit ago.  Got a pilot wound while flying a PonyB but didn't know it until the blackouts started.  No blood on the canopy.

I have a screenshot with the damage screen up, showing a pilot wound but no blood. I don't think it'll be necessary, it should be easy enough to reproduce on HTC's end.
