probably one of the best movies ever done for AH. is this your first film? If so, remarkable. Either way, incredible
PS: If its ok with you, I'd like to put this in my downloads section.

Yes, I liked it. Your first film - wow, great work. :)
-
Yes. definitely my first film. Wasn't nearly as easy as I had hoped. =)
Thanks for the compliments. I really appreciate it.
Morpheus, it is totally OK to put this in your downloads section.

Yup, really good! One of the best I've seen in a long time. What really made it for me was the music choice:aok

Great film:aok

Did you use AHII FV or Fraps?

Both Bogie.
I recorded a bunch of flights using the in game flight recorder. Then I set up my camera angle in AH FV, switched it to full screen, and recorded that with Fraps.

Did you use windows movie maker? I hate to think what you would do if you got ahold of a copy of sony vegas to edit and put together films.
-
Yes, very nice film indeed. That music is familiar, maybe one video from IL2-game...
Your first movie is great! Compare to this movie (http://www.hitechcreations.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=169735)
That is my first. And you can see it! But that action is also between Russia - Finland.

Yes I did Morph. It's pretty limited. I would have loved to been able to mix in some special effect explosions, like the one missing when the 190 stalls and hit the ground, as well as do some audio balancing/enhancing (adding engine sounds, gun sounds, etc). I've worked with Final Cut Pro on the Mac once or twice, but I don't have any toys like that here at home =) Sony Vegas... that's a program I don't know about. I'm guessing like a FCPro or Adobe Premier?

It's the Anthem of the Soviet Union (Russia). I love russian music. The combination of choral and classical is something I really enjoy for some reason. Probably having to listen to it grow up made it grow on me. lol

Funny you mention that. I saw that movie while trying to figure out a host for this one. I liked it. Especially the whole kill being in screenshot stills. It was different, but seemed to work well with the music. =)

Sort of... But in my opinion the best editing software available for windows.

OUTSTANDING!!! :O

was very nice knite!
yeah, although i havent really figured out vegas yet, the moment you open it, you instantly see that it is vastly superior to any other editing software

Wow! impressive use of ahs limited film viewer, im not even sure how you got the stationary cam to work well so that the plane moves entirely seporate from the camera, seems the one we have doesnt let you zoom in that far, tho its been a while since i played with it. Great ground shots, dynamic pacing, its got a respectfull historical flavor to it, probably due to the music/terrain/planeset that is nice to see in contrast to the usual ffa airplane porn, nice

Well the stationary cam was kinda..... an accident believe it or not.
I wanted to get a low view of the 190 stalling above the town and crashing. When the 190 crashed, I hit rewind, and strangely enough, the camera stuck to the ground, although, I couldn't adjust position of it. The only way to UNSTICK the camera was to switch camera types or stop the clip and start completely back at the beginning...
So I just kept experimenting, and looking for an angle that got a good view of the AA as the 190 went down, then let the 190 crash, which again stuck the camera in the ground, rewound (again, you must REWIND do NOT stop the video), and then went into full screen and captured the stationary camera view you see there.
Sure, it's a hack/abuse of a bug, but it worked =-)

It may have been changed but if you want to swivel the camera from that position hit F1 then click "Pan" and you can adjust the angle of the camera. Its not a hack, lol. The camera is just sitting where the plane died that you were stuck to before rather than reseting back to your plane. Its a great way to get some cool shots I used to use it all the time.
