Title: Skin Selector in Mission Planner

I would like to see an option in the Mission Planner to select skins for each flight, assuming everyone has them downloaded.  Not especially important to functionality, but I believe it would add something interesting to the misssion instead of the same default skins.  Thoughts?

i have wanted this but never got around to asking for it. this would actually help with organization: squadron A is in a certain paint scheeme while squadron B is in another.

I gotta agree with this...
I was just about to post something similar but did a search first.

Let us select our mission skins!  Or at the very least, let us play with our own selected preferences. Please oh please oh please!!!

IIRC, if you select a skin before the mission, it will be used. If the mission hits the fan and it hass to be restarted, the skin will default. Very unsure of this.

However, this idea still rocks. :aok

Nothing worse than it switching me back to the default when I join a mission.  

If mission creator cannot select, atleast let it up as whatever the individual has selected.

We've been asking for this since 2004 (Earliest I found in a post), and THIS thread has been open since 2006!


Whisky Tango Foxtrot has this never been addressed!?  If you not going to do it, can you at least tell us why?


To my fellow players, I'm sorry I'm hot about this, but I just got FSO orders specifying a skin for my squad. I always use missions when planing FSO sorties - Like the feature of having all those waypoints for guys - and I fugired "This is a mature game, there's got to be a way to do this, maybe undocumented, maybe a TXT file setting some place..."
Then I look on line and find out this has been being asked for since 2004, and there's an open thread going back to 2006, and not even a comment from HTC? WTF?
