Already drinking  :)

Congrats to all Admins and System Operators!

Back in the 80s, in mainframe days, we called them "priests in white robes". The essence of their job didn't change much, only the white robes are gone now  :)

Way cool!

I've been a Sysop since 1992   :)  My BBS is still up and running, albeit with a vastly improved web interface now!  Check it out.  http://www.checksix.net (http://www.checksix.net)

Do you have a Fidonet adress? 2:5020/198.5 here, since 1993.

It was a beautiful time. I still wonder how the routing works now, with about 2000 nodes in one net in Moscow.

In our university, there were many Iranian women in the CompSci cirriculum.  They wore the full attire and we called them "Computer Nuns".  Your comment just reminded me of that, Boroda.
