Title: No Craters on Divebombing?

I have noticed that in the past few days I have dropped alot of eggs on hangars from P-51Ds, only to see no craters (I am sure I was above 800 ft AGL when dropping).

I heard the boom, boom, but saw no doom, doom on the ground/hangar.

Is this a known bug?

I think when you hit the hangar dead on, you dont get any craters (unless its destroyed of course).

Only ever seen craters when bomb fell on the ground.

Works fine over here. If i drop right on it or miss it works...but thats when my net status if fine. Mayby one night a month my net status will be bad and divebombing and bombing is horrible. 2x1000 bombs from each b17...6000lbs right on a hanger it dident die. Bombs never even landed but I heard the explosion. When i was landing 15 mins later it said fighter hanger destroyed when I was landing. I jumped in a plane and saw the FH i dropped on was down so it god lag on killing a FH???????????????

I think Schatzi is right, the object is accumulating damage from a direct hit, but there are only two textures available - the normal and destroyed texture.

but usually, i will see black/brown craters on top of the structure.  i have not seen this on some of my drops recently...

800 feet has nothing to do with bombs arming in time, that's the altitude needed for a good parachute to open.
Arm time/altitude depends on your rate of descent or dive speed. The faster you are the more altitude you need and conversely the slower you are the less you'll need for bombs to arm. I don't think that's related to this because you hear your bombs exploding.
I occasionally don't see my rocket trails or impacts. I reload the game and generally speaking it's better.

I dont think its a problem. Whenever I host arenas in H2H, when you drop bombs onto hangars if you hit them, there wont be a crater. To me its a way of the game telling you, "You hit it, see... there are no craters". I dont think its a bug, cause by me it never does craters when I hit a hangar.

I noticed this last night, was diving in to egg a VH in my typhoon.  Released around 2k and heard a blast, yet no crater anywhere
