he should be able to activate the profile, open notepad and watch the commands print out when he presses the buttons - if you can do that, the profile is working - the rest will be in the AH setup
the views still need to be set on the one hat in AH but the rest should work once the joysticj is given all the AH commands - set input - in the AH jstick setup

There are two different versions of the sst software , the original , and the one installed with the udpated driver pack . I tried my old profiles with the new driver pack and couldnt use them . Maybe thats the case here

Yeah I just got my X52 on thursday. and just cant seem to get a feel for it. Eagler I just dont know what i am doing wrong that i cant get your stick maps to work. Do i put them in the AH file or the Siatek file? Plus i dont want my mouse stick to work on my 52, i read that you can make it another 4-way hat. Anyone know how to do that???

unzip the profile to here:
C:\Programs Files/Saitek/Software
I think you can do that with the mouse. Just select it as a hat switch

I have had one for a week. First I printed the 24 page manual and which gives detailed instructions on
1 setting single buttons
2 programming multiple keystrokes
3 programming pov' to buttons
I have programmed a button to bail out and one to end flight
Save your profiles in Saitek directory
Also activate the profile by clicking Profile Now
