Title: Voice Radio does not work
Post by: gpa3 on March 02, 2006, 08:48:32 PM
I am a new user. So far everything is working except voice transmit. I can hear others talking no problem.

I can even hear myself talk, but nobody can hear me.

I am clicking the F12 and I do see it light the F12 button area in the radio screen pop-up.

I have tried muting the Windows mic. No help. I just can't hear myself talk when I do that.

Headset is a Logitech USB headset, it works in other apps, and I can hear myself as I stated. It just is not working with the radio for some reason.

Thanks for any help.

Go to keyboard mapping and make sure F12 is mapped for range vox.

Also, you have to hold down the F12 key while you talk.

I think I have it sorta figured out.

For some reason you have to keep selecting 'squad" or "mission" on radio 5 in the dropdown.

I think it should keep these settings, but I have to pull up the radio menu, then select "squad" or 'mission" and then the F12 seems to work.

If i close this screen, I have to set squad or mission again, even though it already shows squad or mission selected. Once it is selected again, I can talk.

What a pain.
