Post by: RAIDER14 on March 02, 2006, 10:17:25 PM
well its official I drove by love today and I saw AA md-80s:O but I think the SWA 737s can hold more people than a md-80 so AA will pack there bags in about a year or 2 probaly

There is no chance in hell American Airlines can kill Southwest with an aneimic flight schedule out of Love. The only thing that will hurt them is going to be determined within seven months.

Lawmakers Temporarily Ground Wright Amendment Action (http://www.nbc5i.com/news/7646313/detail.html)

I found this funny, though. Says Ed Stewart of Southwest about American Airlines:

They are here, I think they are going to love Love Field. We sent them over some flowers and treats to welcome them here. I think they will love it and its just competition as usual.

Is that man talking out of his butt or what?

I wonder how much longer this is going to be news...

Love Field was a International airport before DFW was even built so why does DFW get to call all the shots now:huh

Yep, that's it. It's solely plane size that determines success or failure in the airline business.

I was just saying SWA might get a little more profit since that is there main hub and AA is kinda unprepared at Love since they don't have any hangers there unless they took legends
