Title: skuzzy....
Post by: NUTTZ on March 03, 2006, 03:04:59 PM
Anyway the forward fly button can be fixed in the TE. I hit it and fly backwards, the trottle makes me fly backwards faster or slower. CH products, it works fine in the game, just backwards in the TE. I tried to assign different buttons but get the same flying backwards results.

Theres no way to fly forward in the TE, on my gear.

ANy suggestions? Besides buying new gear? I don't have a problem buying a cheap stick just to make maps, but i don't know if it is a TE related problem or a joystick problem.

have you copied your settings folder over to the directory that the TE resides in?

I have a CH fighterstick - and it works for me.

Try more than just one button in the TE. By me, when I use God's Eye in AH. Button #3 is used to go forwards. Button #2 is used to go backwards. In the TE, button #5 is for forwards, and button #2 for backwards. Throttle controls camera zoom. Also, if the joystick wont do it, just turn the camera facing the sky, and zoom backwards towards the ground.;)

NUTTZ I've had the same problems a couple of times now.

Copy your jsmap.cfg file from the game "settings" folder and paste it into the TE "settings" folder.  I don't get the forward and reverse buttons I want but at least I can "fly" the terrain.

It now occurs to me I might be able to manually edit the jsmap.cfg file and move those buttons to my throttle.

Edit: It works
