I have uploaded a complete .pdf copy of the TAIC A6M5 test. This test is a comparison of the Zeke to the F4U-1D, F6F-5, FM-2, P-38J-25, P-47D-30 and P-51D-5.
I recall F4UDOA wanting to get a copy and HOHUN may also want it. HTC should review it for consideration in reviewing performance of all aircraft involved.
It is an 8.9 meg file...
I'll leave it up for a few weeks.
You can get a copy at A6M5 TAIC test. (http://home.att.net/~historyworld/TAICzero.pdf)

You're welcome. I was scanning through an old hard drive, which I moved to my newest machine. I found it in a folder. I don't recall where I got it, but it appears to have come from a Japanese source. Being a US government document, it cannot be copyrighted, so distribution is uncontrolled.
Remember that gents....Aircraft test data from US Government agencies, be they Air Force, Navy or AAF, if declassified, are in the public domain. No individual can claim copyright. So if you post these types of documents expect them to be copied.
Moreover, works consisting entirely of information that is common property and containing no original authorship may not be copyrighted. Go to the US Copyright Office (http://www.copyright.gov) for details.

Hi Widewing,
>I'll leave it up for a few weeks.
Thanks a lot! :-) I believe that's the same file F4UDOA had already provided the last time we discussed the Zero, so the data has already been considered in our recent thread:

Amazing how these old documents tell us more about the aircraft than all the books that have been published since :-)

Henning (HoHun)
