Damn right he should be arrested.  Why build a cool model like that, and then paint it in air france colours??

So many nicer schemes to choose from.

The BA is very nice, but the Virgin Atlantic is smurfy.

Check this paint scheme of a 777:

deselys - nice paintjob on that 777, but blue planes are notoriously difficult to spot in the air - academic for IFR perhaps. I've added my own observation to you pic. ;)

Is there a reason we should be scared of a Rolls-Royce emblem?

On the other hand...the paint is dandy :)

Dang, I'm certainly no Boeing or P&W blind fanboy, but wetting myself because RR is powering a 777 is beyond my capacity Beet. So, sorry, but you'll have to go solo on this one.

BTW, this is the coolest shot of a 747 evar, IMO. The wing flexing is impressive!

Especially since the P&W motors on the -300 have the RR Trents beat by more than 15,000lbs of thrust.  You might say the RR motor choice is a matter of Yugo-izing the 777 rather than flying it like a manly American would ;)

Air Force One has an attractive paint job, but it looks much better on the 707 than on the 747.

My favorite airline paintjobs for jet aircraft are mostly from the 70's and 80's.  The newer designs mostly look like the lame graphics you'd expect to see on cheap stationary.

I always thought Southwest had the prettiest paintjobs....NOT.  Frontier has some nice ones though, what with the perdy animals and all.
