Just to let my friends and enemies know I should be back on line in about a week to a week and a half.  When the power came back on after a recent snow storm, it trashed my computer so I'm having a new one built. Here are the specs

AMD Athlon 3800+ 2.4 Ghz w/ 512k L2 cache and 2Ghz FSB
2GB RAM
XFX NVidia Geforce 6800GS PCI-E w/128MB memory and DVI out
Samsung 930b 19" LCD Digital monitor

So Watch out

I live in Maryland so pricing will vary depending on where your live due to the cost of living but the tower cost me $1,070 with out tax.  Maryland has a 5% sales tax so you can tack that on as well.  I was able to save some money by using my old tower that I had purchased a few years ago from the same store but I had to upgrade the 300 Watt power supply to 450 watt supply.  The monitor which I failed to mention has DVI in and that will run me $320 plus tax.
