Anybody ever go flying long distances without first mapping out their headings?
Why not provide the opportunity to get more precise headings, for those who want to do so, before flying off on a long mission in AH?
I think a draggable, floating compass feature on the Clipboard Map would be very useful. It could be accessed with the other items in the popup menu that appears when you right click the map.
The compass might consist of a draggable small circle for the origin, a line that extends out to the edges of the map that can be dragged around the origin in order to cross the desired destination, and a degree readout box to tell you the heading you need to take to get from the origin to the destination.
The little airplane icon on the map is useful, but not very accurate if you have a long distance to travel, or especially on bombing missions. I think a compass on the map would be a great, simple feature to add.
Best Regards

I've been on missions where the flight leader indicates numerical heading instead of general direction, which makes me do a double-take because I don't operate that way personally. Good idea. Also, some people designate waypoints when designing thier mission, which are visible on the map under "My Flight", I believe. Again, I don't use it much.
