In view of the worldly trends recently, the Devil was feeling very powerful and decided last week to take a shot at God. So, on Tuesday he knocks on the pearly gates and tells St. Peter he desires an audience. Well, God commands his presence immediately, but takes the call in his laboratory, as it would be unseemly to have the Devil near his throne.
"So, you think you're gaining on me, do you?" asks God.
"Yes, I have you now" answered Satan.
G:"Very well, how will you prove this?"
D:"I will prove I am your equal by making a man!"
G:"You think you're up to making a man?"
D:"Absolutely! Why, anything you can do I can do better!"
G:"Very well, proceed."
So, the devil reaches down to the lab floor and gets a pinch of dust to start with.
G:"Uh-uh. Stop right there!"
D:"Excuse me?"
G:"That's MY dust."
