never flying a niki from 7/01-11/04, and nver flying a niki online in the MA til this tour
I have decided, that this month the niki shall be my exclusive ride. We need to get the Japanese kid lobbey, with their, HT niki does fly with a million rounds, and a 50,000 rps Blaster on the luftwaffe side. a one second burst nets like 50 bazillion hits.

So with Shania's "man I feel like a woman" blaring on the stereo, and 5in strappy heels on my feet, I will fly the niki every sortie this tour.

Its a great fun ... you wont even need to look often at your main gauges. The thing can do pretty anything, like the Spits. Thanks god they are not fast and most ppl fly them only in low and slow furballs.

NIKI in a dive, it will drill you a new ashole on the way down lol & then fly past you ! :O

the one thing that keeps me from flying that thing is it's terrible guns, and it just doesnt feel right. it almost feels like you're flying drunk, it's sluggish and the flying doesnt feel 'alert'

Poo what's not to like about 900 cannon rounds? What convergence have you been using?

Just wait when every time you fly it, you will be seeing yourself ablazed in the sky.  Man looks real good seeing planes ablazed when its dark out. :t

the ballistics are odd, and the rate of fire means that you rarely kill anyone with fast snapshots, whereas in a spit i can destroy a plane entirely with only 2 guns, instead of the 4 on the nik. i dunno, personal preference i guess. it just feels like that plane has just woken up with a hangover. the controls just dont feel alert. perfect cherry picking plane though lol

In AH1 it was a superb plane... I didn't like it as much when AH2 came out.  It didn't feel like it manuevered as crisply.  It is still alright, but the Ki-84 is better, imo.

The 84 is a better plane overall ... much more capable. The IJA cannon ballistics is what keeps me from using these planes, though. Worse than the Russian cannons, IMO. Would make for a superb vultch beast, though. But that would be Wrong.

I dont care for the Niki much either because of the guns. Lots of ammo sure, but as Pooface said the ballistics are not great and the ROF is very low. The ups side is, with 900 rounds I rarely run out of ammo before I'm either out of fuel or dead. With the choice though, I will take a Ki84 every time over the Niki, its a far better overall package.

Not only that but it will do so from D600 after engaging its  anti gravity device
