I'm very disappointed in you children. I expected a full blow disection of the premier, but not a peep is posted.

Hardcore trekkies may already know this, but I learned that the transporter was written into the script because the shuttlecraft models were late for the filming of the episode and they needed a way to get crewmembers to the surface.

Just finished watching it.  It was the good.  The count: 3 dead, 2 seriously wounded, 1 dream sequence (quick and painless).
