Dunt forget Citabria.  He did the skin for it.  I think he also added some stuff to the interior, but I have not confirmed it.

That 'Fort looks soooooo much better than the one we have right now.

YAHOO! The updated B-17 is a beaut. It's my favorite B-17 skin too, the Bit O Lace! Hooray for all. I would rather see an updated B-26or Ki-67 but whatever, this will do.

aces high will not only be the best online flight sim it will also be the prettiest    has anyone got down with that terrain editor release yet,

WOW! thats one mighty B17!

is the woman on the side based of of milton caniffs feme fatale? He did alot of war cartoons in those days and some wound up on planes.

I'm certainly no buff dweeb, I've never flown one in AH, but that is incredible, nice work guys!!!  Gonna edit and round off some edges in a couple of those screen shots and enjoy some new wallpaper :D :aok

SWEET! Bomb bay looks wonderful! Small touches like that make these new models astounding!

2 questions:

1) What's this ammo-counter-like thing that says "HV" in the cockpit?

2) I was just looking at a 48th model of a b17G and remembered they had a 50cal in the radio room. I don't think AH has this. Any reason why? I think it could be like the cheek guns, not a position but fires at whatever's in its arc.

LOL it says RW.  It's the fuel gauge.

I remember seeing this one done in one of the modeling magazines. They said the outer part of the left wing is a different color becuase the aircraft had sustained battle damage on an earlier mission, and the outer section of the wing was replaced with one from an older B-17 that had been painted olive-drab.  Due to a war going on, etc., they didn't have time to remove the OD paint and make the wing parts match.

Great looking B-17!

Actually Rosie's about 10 o'clock, you're in the tail looking "back" (which means you're looking forward) and she's in a b24 already, so she's not attacking buffs :p

Thank you both so very much for the imagery.  It's going to take me all day to get that out of my brain thing.  The more perverse one is, the more one is at risk from this sort of imagery.  Imagine how the picture plays in MY mind.  I may have to apply copious amounts of alcohol to preserve, if necessary by pickling, what remains of, what it pleases me to call, my sanity.  This and the damned red spot....
