Seems these guys took a beating in an ice storm and landed here to access the damage. We see a lot of the British fighters, as they stop-over from the cross Atlantic trip, take a rest then proceed on to their destinations. The Nimrod aircraft...whatever it is, that has 4 engines on it, is LOUD and just plain awesome. Of course they also have their Harriers and Tornados, which are very cool airplanes too. But hey, when you take a big plane about the size of a 727 and it screams like a jet, *thats* cool! Wish I had some pics of that Nimrod.
But anyways, sometimes the airport is a lot of fun here :) I recall being in the traffic pattern to land a few months ago...I had 2 F-16s, a C-5, 3 helicopter gunships and a airliner all in there with me. What kinda suprised my passnger was that when the Apaches flew by, the gun points where the pilot is looking. Hehehe, THAT was awesome!
