Would it be possible for High Tech to make it so that when you are in a ships gun or base gun that the points be added to vehicle ship points and count in your vehicle ranking.

It used to be that way, but was changed to the way it is now.

Ships are not "Ground Vehicles".

Ships may not be "ground vehicles" and neither are "ground guns" on a base.  But if you can man them and kill an enemy, you should get points and a ranking.  So if they are not added to the GV category, then a new one should be added for gunning.  That would go also for "gunner/ observer".
