Title: Hunters: check out Halge
Post by: StSanta on October 16, 2001, 03:52:00 AM
Hälge is a Swedish comic strip - about an elk, the guy that's hunting 'im, his dog and some other characters.

Anyone involved with hunting will recognize some of the stuff in it - I absolutely love it.

Or just http://www.halge.com (http://www.halge.com)

I follow these strips every day, just as I do with userfriendly (which is a geek thing).

Looking forward to hearing what you Americans think of this sorta humor  :).

I bookmarked as well. Looks good. I hope they add an archive! I'd love to see all of the strips from the beginning!

Here is another great comic strip for internet viewers. The characters are animals acting as people would except they still have the wild predator and prey instincts as well as civilization. Domestication takes on a new meaning!

As an avid deer hunter, it is refreshing to see a comic strip which portrays the humorous, and truthful, aspects of hunting.  This is a well drawn strip, and passes the muster of being objective and non-judgemental.  Also, I think it's kinda neat the main protagonist, by necessity, does not end up in the stew pot.  Thank you St Santa for introducing "Halge" to us.
