It's a heavily user-modified game that is the predecessor to a WW1 game by Dynamix.
Anyone care to guess?

does it still only support glide? I used to love RB2-3d (before the puked the fms with the last patch) but when I got my nvidia chip set, no more RB2-3d....

Nope, still only Glide. Unless you can find a Glide wrapper (Nvidia was making one.. but news of that disappeared), then you can only play in 2D. Hell, if you have a spare system (P2 300 or so) and a Voodoo Banshee, you could download all of the updates to it.
Lots of new neat stuff. Yeah the FM was stupor porked thanks to Sierra/Dynamix, but there's a few FM upgrades and damage model fixes. (really only good for single player)
I haven't played it over a year, I installed it last night and was looking for all the new updates and stuff and man! THere's a lot of new stuff since I last played, that makes it look really nice.
