Looks just like my pathetic vulch attempt in a P47N in the MA. Joke aside - I can't imagine how many hours it took to build that replica and then to auger it. It's like building a house and lighting it on fire when your finished. I bet after the poor slob flew it into the ground his old lady celled him and gave him some ack "When the hell are you coming home - you know you been out all day - Ba Ba Ba Ba Blah Blah Blah Blah?" just to add salt in the wound. :O

That video will give you cold feet quick regarding RC Airplane purchase.

Yeah, that's how most of my P47 flights end as well. Auger via high wing loading.

Out of curiousity, how much would an RC model like the one in the video cost?

That's a GSP Jug, about $500 for the plane, same for the engine, another 500 in radio gear and retracts. That's a repairable crash BTW, and it looked like he was 'overcontrolling'.. too much servo/control surface throw.
