Post by: KTM520guy on March 17, 2006, 09:55:45 PM
For the last 3 days I have had really bad vox. A bad stutter has developed. My my my vox vox vox sounds sounds sounds like like like this this this. I had thought it was just me but others have told me they have the same problem. Is there anything I can do or is this a HTC issue?

I have talked to a few people and it seems I am alone here with vox that dosen't work. I can transmit to others but everything I get back sstttttttttuuudddeeerrrrssss. It makes playing not worth my time. The only solution I have found is the ".resetv" command. That turns off all vox but also cuts my volume in half.

I was just about to start a thread asking about , I assume, the same problem.
On the receiving end of VOX I am getting like a loopback recording. It is happening regularly and seems to have just started after we went back to the original ISP. Someone can say "check 6" and I get "check 6" "check 6" "check 6" over and over. On a lot of these occasions it freezes game play temporarily.

Nothing I've done has helped my vox problems.   Since this began I changed my sound card and reduced the amount of processes running to a safe minimum. I have even changed hard drives and only have Firefox and AHII installed on my current setup. I already had another HD just needed an reason to put it in :)

This makes playing really no fun. Frame rate in the toilet also but that's for another thread.
