Title: Most kills in a P40?
Post by: GlacierGirl on March 18, 2006, 12:33:47 PM: I just landed 5 in a P-40E today, and it made me wonder what the most kills in a P-40 is, so for those of you who fly this beautiful bird, post the most kills you have landed in a P40. :)

best i ever landed was 9, but that was in the AvA against 109s and 190s, not spixteens and lalas.

Post by: Morpheus on March 18, 2006, 07:45:07 PM: 12 no rearms nor vulches. Most ever while "capping" was 15 which involved letting them up enough shooting their tail or wingtip off with enough alt under them so they'd pop when hitting the dirt.

actually, Todd/Leviathn was up to something like 497 before he got killed by a panzer. Go figure. :rolleyes: :lol

Post by: SuperDud on March 19, 2006, 07:08:21 PM: One time I almost shot one down. He was 3K away and I was closing, but then a yak came along. I broke right and made the yak overshoot. I then proceeded to dodge a spit that came in on me. After shaking him, the yak came back in. So I dodged him again and a friendly shot his tail off as I looked behind me. So the P40 is now about 5K out. I turn to track him down, when that darn spit comes back in and lights me up. I' still flying but missing 1/2 my wing. Then a P38...or was it a P51? I dunno, one of them came in and blew me up.

But yeah, I almost had one!!!

for every vulch you obtain you will die once also.

you need a shade account squad for both of your squads to vulch to make it work.

Remember, Bomber KD dont count towards fighter rank, or any rank actualy.
