Post by: SMIDSY on March 18, 2006, 07:56:14 PM: this will be my final instalment of the Warship Quiz series. i have decided to quit while im ahead and not let it fizzle out like an old sitcom. this will be a grand round however. good luck. please do not answer all of them at once if you know them. give others a chance.

Post by: dizman on March 18, 2006, 09:22:54 PM: I'm probably wrong but is picture 2 an essex class carrier. The last picture was the german equivalent to a ptboat, cant think of its name though.

Dizman, it is indeed an Essex class. specifically the USS John Hancock.
