Title: Stereo/surround camcorder microphone

I purchased a sony DVD camcorder 403 I belive is the model #..

I need to be able to record high decible sounds and the camera has 5.1 dolby digital capability..

Anyone know how I can exploit this?

I need to know what kind of microphone would be best for loud sudden noises etc.

Don't ask me what I was thinking beforehand about exploiting the dolby digital, :huh .
