I know very well that all those scenes are from Pearl Harbor, but by no means was that even close to being a great movie.

Pearl Harbor was a good movie well at least the action segments were good but there was not enough action it was too much of a love story

i havent seen those action scenes in a long time and for some reason with the added music it gave me goosebumps..:D    makes me wanna go and log ont to AvA and hop in a zeke and try and kill some cv's...

btw those jap pilots in the movie must have been really bad pilots if they got shot down by p-40's on thier dead 6.. hmmm makes me wonder is the flight modeling of the p-40 in AH really accurate as it was historically? or mayb is the zeke fight modleing historical??  cus they shouldve turned to avoid getting shot... anywayz i bet im the only one that argues about movie realness..

GO GO BEN AFLEK!!!

HAHAHAHaHAHaHAHAHAHAHAHAHAhAH ahahah....... :rofl :rofl :rofl
oh good lord I havent laughed like that in a a while.
All though The movie was entertaining at most I would have rather seen a more historical remake of Tora Tora Tora....

I will admit though it was really cool to see an actual flying A6m5b. Anyone care to guess what series the P-40's where?

Besides "Battle of Britian" another movie I highly suggest is "A Dark Blue World"

DArk Blue World (http://movies2.nytimes.com/gst/movies/trailer.html?pop=y&mtype=win&quality=high&url=httpQ3AQ2FQ2Fwww.totaleclips.comQ2FPlayerQ2FBounce.aspxQ3FeclipidQ3DE15349Q26ampQ3BbitrateidQ3D10Q26ampQ3BvendoridQ3D225&title=Dark%20Blue%20World)

Ontos i think those were p-40B right?  and i dun think those were a6m5b..more like a6m2...   it had to watch it about 5 times straight before the goose bumps went away..   btw for you squadrons tht fly spits is it possible to tell wat spit tht was just from the film??? and for you guys tht know every 109 like the palm of ur hand *cough* Chuck *cough*  wat 109 was tht??  the bumps on the wings wen it was getting shot down made it look like a g14 or somthing along them lines but another view made it look like an E model...dunno i'll hafta leave it to the experts

They were spitfires MK V's. You can tell by the muzzles on the inner's of the wings. And the .303 cal slots on the outside of the wings. If it was not a MK V (5), you would have 2 or more guns on the inner part of the wing, on this case, theres only 1 on each wing meaning its a 20 MM belonging to a Spit 5.

And by the way, the flying scenes were ALL animation! None of those planes ever flew, all animation!

Anyone else thinks those zero pilots are some REALLY BAD SHOTS? The part when the P-40E's take off and are pursued by the A6M5's who then open fire. You know, it's not hard to hit a plane 200 FT infront of you with 20 MM cannon shells!:rofl

WISHMASTER!!!!! I think it was purposely created for this film. So, I don't think you would find a download of the soundtrack available!

No, it wasn't. The song can originally be found on the album Wishmaster by Nightwish (http://www.nightwish.com/).

Despite all the special effects and CGI aircraft. The best scenes are those which used actual aircraft.
