I havent done the update yet but typically I get stutters whenever I dont do a full install of a new version. That is, just use the update .

What I usually end up doing is deleting the game from mysystem and doing a fresh install of the entire new version of the game which usually cures it.

Oh and I've noticed your better off manually deleteing the game rather then using the uninstall option

probably my fault I updated to 2.071 and didnt make new cache will try that.
