Title: ch fighterstick pedals problem
Post by: nark on March 22, 2006, 05:09:14 PM
just picked them up and Ive searched the forum on how to combine them and get AH To recognize both
I can only get AH to recognize the pedals
I have calibrated in windows-both the stick and the pedals-but cant seem to figure out how to combine them

I have no clue how to work the ch manager and and have heard that one can simply calibrate in windows and then in AH

load the game up, and go to set/stick selection.... I think thats what its called :) In there on the left you select which input device you want then in the middle box you select the "axis" you want that input to work. then click apply.

You should be able to get them all in there.

A common error occurs when people calibrate the joystick in the game.  When the panel comes up that tells you to move the sticks, wheels, rudders and so on, DO NOT press the OK button until you have done those operations.

If you have multiple joysticks, you will need to manually configure them.  As an example, I will explain how to correctly setup rudders in Aces High.

Start Aces High and go to the "Offline" option from the clipboard.

1) Press "Setup" from the clipboard.
2) Select "Controls" from the clipboard.
3) Press "Joystick".
4) Press "Select Joystick"
5) Select "Rudder" from the "AH Control" list.
6) Make sure the rudders are selected in the center section
7) Make sure the "Z-Axis" is selected in the right input section
8) Press the "Set Input" button.

If you loaded any control software for the pedals, make sure it is not
loaded when you start Aces High, as Aces High will properly detect the
pedals and the software will interfere with proper operations.

The above works for every axis, stick, and/or mode joysticks operate in.
