The jeep is fun but not very usefull in the game. Would really like to see the Wirbelwind.

Jeep would be better if, like someone suggested, it could carry like 5 troops. The GV supplies are nice but doesnt quite fit the vehicle.

we quite clearly need the Kubelwagen to even this blatant allied favouritism

Yes I'm still in favor of the Sherman or any variation of, but the Kubelwagon?
I guess it would be kinda kewl, but what purpose would it serve?

It just would be nice (IMO) to have a somewhat realistic "Flak" battery in the game.

I have noticed over the last 6 months that many have taken a real liking to the ground action part of the game.

Just my 2 cents

Not much of a history buff but.....
Did they ever  mount any sort of fixed anti tank weapon on jeeps?
With their small size, greater speed and better manoeverbility would have had a distinct advantage on the big and heavy panzers. Hit and run attackers......

The AA defence on the bases is ridiculos weak, uneficient  that's why soo much complains about vulching,
The 20mm/ 88mm AI autoguns on the bases are mosquito bites, just a useless decoration droping frame rate,
Imop all acs on the base shoud be 37mm, maned or not. Is way to eassy to kill all acs on the base and start the vulch party,
The other problem are GVs spawn, shound have a landing spot, somewhere at emeny base, close to spawn.
If a GVer goes for fight to enemy get few kills, why shoud waste the rest of the day driving back to land  !?

Jeep is great for raids, running supplies to tankers quickly, scouting, and generally pretending to be the Duke boys.

Manned multiple barrel light flak is a necessity.

The 'AI" 20mm we have at bases are inefficient. Usually one manned AAA at the base shoots more attackers then all the AI guns. There should be 20mm batteries with high rate of fire at al bases. Or at least something like the Wirbelwind that we can deploy wherever is needed.

One fighter with cannons can clean a large base all alone with not much danger.
During WW2 airfields attacks were a real hazard, was executed by large formations and took a huge toll on the attacking force.

All countries had this kind of guns:

not in WWII. they could tow a 37mm AT gun however. on post war jeeps, recoiless rifles and later, TOW missiles were mounted on the sturdy old warhorse.

Im afraid that if we get the Wirbelwind, the Ostwind will get abandoned. Afterall, the Ostwind has a bigger gun, but it's darn hard to aim with it!

Kubelwagen would be cool!

I think a 75mm tank gun weights a tad more than the halve ton a jeep could carry. And smaller guns wont hurt the tank...

But what about the 75mm recoiless rifles that were mounted on jeeps in the latter part of WWII and used a lot in korea?  I'm not sure of their velocity but I can't imagine them being used for anything but anti-tank/bunker warfare.
